About Disperse Records

Disperse Records was set up in 2008 to release commercially unconventional music for free via the internet - free to download and free to distribute; the only investment required is a bit of time and an open mind.


Since the initial setup and due to other commitments the label has lain dormant; little to no marketing and very few releases. However all this is set to change in 2011 - the sleeping dragon awakes to breath fire and frighten the natives!


We have new releases coming up from EXTRASUPER, improvised sound works by Arthur Winkler NOW!, as well as work from Geoff Jeff and a musical release from film-makers Lamfrag.


A selection of music released by Disperse Records is currently downloadable from soundcloud.com. In the near future we will be hosting all our released music at The Internet Archive but in the meantime our Soundcloud page has links to download some Disperse Records releases at full quality (44.1kHz, 16bit, uncompressed), as well as a some previously unreleased material.
